More than eight years ago, we filed suit in Pennsylvania seeking a ruling that the certified DRE systems were illegal and unconstitutional. During the course of this litigation, (still pending) I have turned to EVN members again and again for help on the technology and computing issues that arose.  EVN has also kept me informed about new developments, new breaches in security, and other legal challenges to insecure and unverifiable voting systems. EVN is a completely unique community that provides a wealth of information from top experts in voting and technology across a broad spectrum of disciplines: academia, government, the non-profit and civil rights communities.
